Bryan Singer To Direct ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’

The geek world was saddened when news broke a few days ago that Matt Vaughn would be bailing from the Director’s Chair for ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past.’ It looks like things might have a silver lining because late yesterday, it was announced that Bryan Singer, who produced the last film and directed the first two X-Men films would be coming on board to take over the position.

We know that the story will be somehow related to the comic book story of the same name. This is pretty great because it means we’ll finally get some Sentinels up in here!

Currently, Days of Future Past is set for a July 18, 2014 release and stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence.
