Canadian High Schooler Lands Major Role In ‘Percy Jackson’ Sequel

This is a great story for young actors who don’t think that you can break in to the industry and get discovered any more. Paloma Kwiatkowski is a high school student in Vancouver, the same city where FOX’s Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Sea Of Monsters, will be filming. In school, Paloma is the captain of her school improv team (they have an improv team?) and is set to take them to the national championships (Seriously?!). All editorial aside about silly “teams”, she must have some serious chops because she walked into auditions for the Percy Jackson Sequel and nailed it on the first try. It wasn’t long before she had a contract for the film and an option for two more if the series keeps going. As the series progresses, her role gets bigger and bigger.
