Deadline is reporting that Candice Patton, of The Game has just been cast in the upcoming CW Pilot for the DC Super Hero, The Flash. She’ll be starring opposite Grant Gustin and Jesse L. Martin.
As previously reported, The Flash was supposed to be introduced in Arrow, but the studio was so happy with Barry Allen’s introduction that they decided to give the character his own show.
In this new take on Flash, Barry Allen aka The Flash (Gustin), is a Central City assistant police forensics investigator and Arrow Fanboy. After Helping Arrow solve a big case, he becomes the victim of a major accident that turns him into the Flash.
Also recently cast in the show are Rick Cosnett and Danielle Panabaker.
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
