Captain America: New World Order is now filming in Atlanta Georgia and Justjared has the first pics from the set. While we don’t have any costume or action shots to show you, we do have pics of Anthony Mackie at a diner.

The more recent set of Marvel films have not been up to part with what fans came to expect throughout the Infinity Saga. It could be that they are trying to do too much in too little time, or that they have run out of ideas and the passion that carried them through the first four phases of the MCU, so the next film in the Captain America Franchise is going to be a majorly telling factor.

News of the production comes on the heels of the announcement that Victoria Alonso, the MCU exec who has been with the company since 2006 and was allegedly the big boss of all things VFX related has left the company with no stated reason. We have a feeling that returning Disney CEO may be the reason as dropping VFX quality and a relationship with the special effects industry that has become so acrimonious that it’s spilled out into the headlines may be part of it. While we won’t feel her exit in The Marvels or even Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3, you can bet that she will not have had a chance to influence too many things on Captain America: New World Order before announcing her exit.

Along with Mackie, the film also stars Harrison Ford as Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross aka The Red Hulk, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes(rumored), Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns aka The Leader, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres (Possibly the new Falcon), Shira Haas as Sabra, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Xosha Roquemore in an undisclosed role.
