In March, we wrote about Cartoon Network’s new TV line up and block of DC animation properties for TV and Online in 2012 called DC Nation. It will be the first-ever dedicated broadcast destination for a multi-platform, branded block of original programming and exclusive content based on the DC Comics library of legendary character properties. Similar to something like Adult Swim, the programming block will feature two of Cartoon Network’s current half-hour shows — “Young Justice” and the recently launched “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” — as well as a series if diverse shorts produced by Warner Bros. Animation in conjunction with DC Comics.
Below is the first DC Nation teaser promo which will give us our first look at what we can expect:
– Plastic Man (featuring the talents of Andy Suriano, and Tom Kenny — voice of Spongebob)
– CG Blue Beetle
– Chibi Teen Titans (featuring the original voice actors)
– Super Best Friends Forever (Shorts about Supergirl, Batgirl, and Wonder Girl)
– LEGO Batman (based on the popular video game)
– Aardman Animation-esque Batman and Robin
– Gotham City Imposters
