When you think of the musical, Cats, what comes to mind… other than weird people in cat costumes? It’s the music and the songs. Today we got a new trailer for Tom Hooper’s Big Screen adaptation of the Broadway show and the one thing missing from the trailer was a single note being sung by the cast. Sure, there was dancing and background music, but we are gonna need more than a cast list and nightmare-inducing CGI to get us interested in a movie like this. Still, with a cast that includes James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift, and Rebel Wilson, it is almost worth the inevitable therapy sessions.
