While it was speculated a long time ago, NBC has officially confirmed that “Chuck” will return in January – two months earlier than originally announced.
Additionally, the geeky spy comedy will debut with back-to-back episodes on Sunday, January 10 from 9-11 PM, then air a third episode in its regular timeslot of Mondays at 8 PM the following night.
Originally given a thirteen episode renewal for season three, “Chuck” had its episodes increased to nineteen at the end of October. As a result, co-creator Chris Fedak wants the audience to know that they will use this opportunity to tell more story rather than “pad the original story out.”
“We’re telling a lot of story this season. Essentially, it’s our ability to tell more story. But it’ll still feel like one season.”
Angie Harmon, Kristin Kreuk, Brandon Routh, Mini Anden, Steve Austin and Robert Patrick are all slated to make guest appearances this season.
