Deadline is reporting that Comedy Central and Funny or Die are teaming up to create a new late night show that will start airing four nights a week in the fall. The show, which will air at the 11:30 time slot will feature Chris Hardwick as the host and will be co-produced by his company, Nerdist Industries.
This effectively puts Hardwick on TV six nights a week between this show, The Talking Dead on AMC, and The Nerdist on BBCA.
The current name for the show is Comedy Central’s first midnight strip. It will be a comedic panel show that will have a heavy social-media presence integrated throughout.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
