Comedy Central Renews ‘Futurama’ For Its Seventh Season

Good news everybody. “Futurama” has been renewed by Comedy Central for its seventh season with a 26 episode order.

The Matt Groening and David X. Cohen sci-fi show was brought back by the network in 2009 having been canceled by Fox. It’s currently in mid season having already aired the first 13 episodes of season 6, with the remaining 13 episode scheduled to air this summer.

Fans can expect season seven to air similarly in two installments of 13 episodes each beginning in 2012 and 2013.

And to this I say, “Woo!”
