The newest trailer for Coming 2 America, the sequel to 1988’s Coming To America starring Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall dropped today and we are getting our best look yet at the story behind the new film.
In the new film, Murphy has learned that he had a child he is unaware of with Leslie Jones from his first trip to the US. Now, he must travel back to the US and get him (Jermaine Fowler) as he is now the heir to the throne. What follows is the family having to come to terms with the fact that Murphy’s daughter was hoping to be the first female ruler of the kingdom and they must also deal with an evil general played by Wesley Snipes who would like to seize power for himself.
Coming 2 America premieres on Amazon Prime Video on March 5.
