COMMUNITY – James Brolin Cast As Jeff Winger’s Long Lost Father

One of the longest story threads of Community has been that Joel McHale’s character, Jeff Winger, was abandoned by his father and it has led him to become the douche that he is today. Well, Jeff Winger will finally meet his father in this year’s Thanksgiving episode of NBC’s Community. Now, we not only know when it will happen, but who will play his father. It will be none other than James Brolin, MR. Barbara Streisand.

Here’s the synopsis of the episode:
Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) hosts an awkward gathering at her place with the study group, while Jeff winds up at the house of his father, whom he hasn’t seen since he was a kid, and a different kind of discomfort ensues

Community Returns to NBC on October 19th with Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Gillian Jacobs, Chevy Chase, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash.
