‘Cowboy Bebop’, ‘LOTR’, Others Given Permission To Restart Production

Good news for anyone who is worried they’ll finish everything on Netflix before the COVID-19 production bans end. New Zealand, one of the most popular filming locations in the world, has started to give some productions permission to re-enter the country and to roll cameras again for the first time in months.

Among the two most exciting productions given the green light to return are the Amazon Prime Lord of The Ring’s series and Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop starring John Cho. Other productions given permission to get back to business are the Power Rangers Beast Morphers TV show and movies: The Greatest Beer Run Ever and Sweet Tooth. These projects join James Cameron‘s Avatar sequels and Jane Campion‘s The Power of the Dog.
