Daniel Radcliffe is a long way from Hogwarts. This year has already seen him playing the role of farting, perpetually erect corpse. Now his latest role sees him shaving his head and infiltrating the Klan.
Imperium, a film inspired by real events, stars Radcliffe as a young FBI agent assigned to infiltrate a white supremacist group. THere’s not really much more to know about it than that right now. He’s agot a great supporting cast that includes talent like Toni Collette, Burn Gorman, and Nestor Carbonel, and it looks like it might be one of the more emotionally challenging roles that the actor has taken on since since his stint on stage in Equus.
Nate Foster (Daniel Radcliffe), a young, idealistic FBI agent, goes undercover to take down a radical right-wing terrorist group. The bright up-and-coming analyst must confront the challenge of sticking to a new identity while maintaining his real principles as he navigates the dangerous underworld of white supremacy. Inspired by real events, IMPERIUM stars Daniel Radcliffe, Toni Collette, Tracy Letts, with Nestor Carbonell, Burn Gorman and Sam Trammell and will be released by Lionsgate Premiere in theaters and On Demand August 19.
