Dark Knight Rumor: Is Ellen Page in TDKR And Who Is She Playing?

Take this with a grain of salt, but the word on the web is that Ellen Page is in The Dark Knight Rises. And… not only is she in the movie, but she’ll be playing none other than Barbara Gordon!

Now, there’s no proof of this rumor, just a photo that someone snapped of a sign on a trailer at the set of the movie that said “E. Page” and “B. Gordon”. We also know that like Joss Whedon, Christopher Nolan has a habit of using the same actors over and over again.

Plot-wise, this would work out. Barbara was around 9 years old when she appeared in The Dark Knight. Now that we know that 8 years have passed since the last film, Barbara is 17 years old and the perfect age to be played by the young looking Page.

So, what do you think? Is there truth to this rumor or is it just a load of bat guano?
