A lot of DC fans have mixed feelings about David Ayer taking another swing at the DCU, but it’s going to happen, and he’ll be bringing Harley Quinn and Margot Robbie along for the ride. News has come down that WB is trusting Ayer to come back for the film Gotham City Sirens, a movie that will showcase DC villains including Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy. Robbie is set to reprise her role as Harley Quinn, but no one has been named for the roles of either Catwoman or Poison Ivy as of yet. It wasn’t announced, but you can pretty much bet that this movie is not going to get made without a Batman cameo somewhere along the way.
No details have been released about the story, other than the fact that Ayer will not be scripting it like he did for Suicide Squad. That task will fall to Sherlock Holmes/ Tomb Raider (the upcoming version) scribe, Geneva Robertson-Dworet.
