Big things are afoot at DC Comics. Next April, there’s going to be a distinct lack of your regular DC comics on the shelves at your local comic shop. Following the events of Earth 2: World’s End and The New 52: Futures End events, a new event will emerge: Convergence. With it, a new villain will be born” Telos.
Starting on April 1st, DC will launch a 9-week mini-series that will then spawn 40, two-part stories during April and May. The new stories will “examine the worlds of the DC Universe over the decades, as well as the heroes and villains contained within.”
At the center of the story is Braniac, who has “brought together the populations of all of the multiverse cities he’s trapped over the years in an experiment to see what would happen if they were to meet each other.”
