The upcoming Swamp Thing series slated for the DC Streaming Universe and produced by James Wan just picked up some major talent in the form of Oscar-nominated actress, Virginia Madsen. While we don’t currently know the name of her character, she’ll be playing a local resident of the Louisiana town where the story’s events are unfolding. Her husband (yet to be cast), is so obsessed with the mystical situation going on in the swamp that it has had a negative effect on their marriage.
Madsen will be joining a cast that already includes Jennifer Beals as Sheriff Lucilia Cable, Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane, Maria Sten as Liz Tremayne, and Jeryl Prescott as Madame Xanadu.
