American audiences have already had the chance to be disappointed by X-Men: Apocalypse. The film is currently sitting on RottenTomatoes with a 48% score. That’s only 10% higher than Wolverine: Origins. Meanwhile, Japanese audiences have not yet seen the film. Also, they didn’t have a chance to see Deadpool until June 1st.
To help market the film, Fox had the good sense of including a Deadpool comment scene at the end of the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer. I think it might just be better than anything in the actual movie.
