There’s less than a month until Thor hits the big screen with his giant hammer and even bigger hopes of laying the ground for the Avengers film, and Marvel is working double time to make all they can from product placement. You can’t hit a gas station without seeing Thor on a slushie cup and now the full court press is on for Thor’s official vehicle sponsor, the 2012 Acura TL. Not only is the car being billed as the official car of the movie, but Acura is the official car of SHIELD.
I’m not sure if it is more awesome for Acura to pull that big a product placement deal or more sad for Marvel that Acura is the official car of SHIELD.
