After ten years off the air, Michael C. Hall is coming back to the small screen as serial killer Dexter Morgan. While it was previously announced that the series would be heading back to Showtime for a 10-episode revival story, there have been zero details released about what the show’s story would be.
There are plenty of theories that the new tale would see Dexter having to come out of retirement to either save or face off his son, who would now be around eighteen years old, but that has yet to be revealed. What we do know is that the big bad for the series has been cast and he’ll be played by none other than Clancy Brown.
Here are the only details about Clancy’s character that have been released by Showtime:
Name: Kurt Caldwell.
Showtime’s character description: he “realized the American dream by going from driving big rigs, just like his father did, to now owning several trucks and the local truck stop. Powerful, generous, loved by everyone — he’s a true man of the people. If he’s got your back, consider yourself blessed. But should you cross Kurt, or hurt anyone that he cares for, God help you.”
