DiCaprio Stays Green, Recycles Twilight Zone

Variety is reporting that eco-friendly super star Leonardo DiCaprio is continuing on his quest to recycle movies through his production company, Appian Way. In conjunction with WB, Leo is working on a new film version of the classic Rod Serling TV show, Twilight Zone.

The original “Twilight Zone” series ran for five seasons starting in 1959 on CBS, with Rod Serling creating the skein and writing more than half of the 156 episodes.

Warners released the previous bigscreen incarnation of the property, 1983’s “Twilight Zone: The Movie,” with Steven Spielberg and John Landis producing and directing segments.

None of the movies or updated tv shows have ever come close to the original. Why would they want to make another version again? Oh.. I forgot… its that oh so disgusting combination of greed and “I’m so awesome I can do great things even better.”
