Disney XD has just announced that they are planning a reboot of one of the greatest characters to come out of Disney in the in the 1990’s- Darkwing Duck.
The Terror The Flaps In The Night won’t be coming back to TV until 2018, and who knows what form he’ll take when he does. The Network has this to say about it:
“Our new series will bring that same energy and bumbling crime-fighting spirit that fans have come to love about Darkwing Duck. We’re also going to add a gritty look that this generation of kids love. It’s our goal that fans of old and new will enjoy the new Darkwing Duck.”
Will this be the cornerstone to a new Animated Duck Universe like we had back when I was a kid? Who knows. All we know is that it’s happening.
