Children of the 90’s will always hold the classic Disney Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy in a special place in their hearts. The movie has become such a popular October mainstay on the small screen that the Disney Channel has decided that they should remake it. Why? Greed. Hubris… you know the usual.
While we don’t know too much about the film, we know that it will be a remake, or “re-imagining” of the original property, that it’s being written by Scarlett Lacey of “The Royals”, alongside David Kirschner. It will also not have any involvement from the original creative team or any of the original cast members.
