To Star Wars fans around the world, May 4th is Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you!), but to Disney+, it’s a great opportunity for marketing. Next Monday is going to be a big day for the streaming network. Along with the premiere of The Mandalorian for UK members of Disney+ and the launch of the Mandalorian behind the scenes documentary for the whole world, Disney has recently announced that they’d be dropping Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on the network on the same day. This marks the first time that the entire Skywalker saga (Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of The Sith, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of The Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker) will be available to stream on the same platform. To get the celebration started, they’ve updated their on network art with some great new Star Wars imagery, including some artwork from Star Wars concept artist, Ralph McQuarrie.
