There isn’t a ton of news just yet, but at a recent news conference, Disney executives announced they we will be seeing a sequel to the 1983 hit, Tron, some time in the very near future. The movie is now filming and they even showed a clip from the movie. it featured a louder, and more thrilling bike race along with a cameo of the original movie’s star, Jeff Bridges.
Tron wasn’t the only big news at the event. The Pixar and Disney animation studios’ chief creative officer, John Lasseter, also broke the news that “Cars 2,” would be released in the summer of 2011, a year earlier than once planned.
