Variety is reporting that Disney has named a script writer for their recently acquired graphic novel adaptation, ” Pet Robots”, by Scott Christian Sava.
The comic/movie is a high-tech comedy about four students who get lost on a field trip at a toy company and bond with four military robots.
Along with creating “Pet Robots”, Sava has also worked on “Spider-Man,” “Casper the Friendly Ghost,” “Aliens vs. Predators” and “X-Men” as an illustrator, comicbook artist, animator and vidgame designer.
Its great to see Disney finally getting their act together and checking out all the great material there is in the world of comics and graphic novels.
