Doctor Who – Meet The New Doctor’s New Companion

When Jodie Whittaker’s run as Doctor Who came to an end, fans were delighted to see a familiar far in David Tennant take form after the regeneration. While we know that Ncuti Gatwa is slated to be the next Doctor, it won’t be until we get three specials that feature Tennant’s Doctor and the return of Catherine Tate’s Donna Noble (The best companion in the history of the series).

When Ncuti Gatwa does regenerate into his new gig in November of 2023, he’ll have a new companion of his own in the form of Millie Gibson. Here’s what the Coronation Street actress had to say about being cast in the role:

“Whilst still being in total disbelief, I am beyond honoured to be cast as the Doctor’s companion. It is a gift of a role, and a dream come true, and I will do everything to try and fill the boots the fellow companions have travelled in before me. And what better way to do that than being by the fabulous Ncuti Gatwa’s side, I just can’t wait to get started.”
