If you had to pick a next project for Michael Bay, what would it be? Maybe another Bad Boys movie or a return to The Rock? maybe he you’d like to see him take on another Hasbro franchise. Well, how about a Kid’s cartoon about a girl with a backpack. I’ve got to say, putting him in charge of a Dora The Explorer film might be the only thing that gets me interested in seeing it. Not that I’d expect it to be good. I Just want to see Swiper explode.
the untitled live action adventure is currently being put together at Paramount. They’ve pulled in Nick Stoller (The Muppets) to write the movie and Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are producing. As far as the story goes, we don’t know much, but we do know that the film will focus on a slightly more grown up, teenage Dora, who now lives in the city with her cousin Diego.
If they are able to pull it all together, they are planning a release some time in 2019.
