The show that every child who grew up in the 80’s wanted to be on is coming back for a new generation at Nickelodeon. If you never saw Double Dare when it first aired, you missed out on what could only be described as a kid’s version of Jeopardy meets Ninja Warrior, with a hefty dose of slime.
Today it was announced that the show would come back to the network that first launched it in 1986 for all new episodes, beginning this summer. A new host for the show has yet to be announced, but it’s a safe bet that the original host, Marc Summers has probably aged out of the gig. Besides, he’s too busy producing close to half of all the cooking shows that currently air on TV.
