Deadline is reporting that Elizabeth Banks (The LEGO Movie, The Hunger Games series) is set to direct her first major film, the sequel to the acapella comedy, “Pitch Perfect.” Banks is no stranger to the franchise as she actually produced and had a small role in the original 2012 film.
While it is not confirmed yet, the are rumors that both Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are in talks to return for the sequel. Chances of Wilson returning are even higher now that her new ABC series, Super Fun Night, has been cancelled by the network.
