While no one was really asking for a movie based on the Disney world attraction Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne Johnson, but then again no one was asking for a movie based on the 80’s video game Rampage, but the trailers for that are looking pretty damned fun. Now, Variety is reporting that ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ star, Emily Blunt, will be joining Johnson for the adventure. This will be the second major Disney outing for Blunt, who will be starring in Mary Poppins Returns when it hits theaters later this year alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda.
If done well, this could be the next major, attraction-based franchise for Disney who seems to have finally squeezed the very last penny out of Pirates of The Caribbean.
