Producer/director Guillermo del Toro will be producing a new live-action adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast” and “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson is slated to star and will play Belle AKA Beauty.
Aside from Watson joining the project, nothing else is know about the film but it shouldn’t be much of a surprised considering it’s “Beauty and the Beast,” a story everyone should already vaguely know.The decision to nab Watson may prove key to the success of the film as her success from “Harry Potter” may carry over as Potheads suffer from withdraw. Never the less, Watson would make a good Bella, she has the beauty and the innocence to bring a classic fairy tale to life.
Plus, who doesn’t want to see a film produced by Toro, I can’t image how awesome Beast will look. He certainly won’t be fully CGI I can tell you that much right now!
