Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore Reveals Mads Mikkelsen As Grindelwald

While Harry Potter currently enjoys all manner of events in celebration of its 20trh anniversary, we’re now getting our first look at the next chapter in the adventure, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The third film in the Fantastic Beasts Franchise, this chapter will not only see Grindelwald waging war against the muggles as Newt Scamander and his team of scoobies attempt to stop him with the aid of Jude Law’s Dumbledore, but it will also see the recasting of Grindlewald from Johnny Depp to Mads Mikkelsen.

Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines? Neil Blair, Danny Cohen, Josh Berger, Courtenay Valenti and Michael Sharp served as executive producers.
