Fantastic Four has been waiting for proper treatment on the big screen since Chris Evans was Johnny Storm and not Captain America. With the return of Marvel’s first family to the MCU, it was only a matter of time before we’d get the formal announcement of a new FF film and that’s exactly what happened at the Investors Meeting from Disney.
Along with the reveal of the film’s logo, it was announced that the Fantastic Four’s first MCU outing would be directed by Spider-man helmer Jon Watts.

Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
