Fantastic Four has been waiting for proper treatment on the big screen since Chris Evans was Johnny Storm and not Captain America. With the return of Marvel’s first family to the MCU, it was only a matter of time before we’d get the formal announcement of a new FF film and that’s exactly what happened at the Investors Meeting from Disney.
Along with the reveal of the film’s logo, it was announced that the Fantastic Four’s first MCU outing would be directed by Spider-man helmer Jon Watts.
There’s no information beyond that, and there probably won’t be until after Spider-man 3 is released. This is however, a good time to guess that Watts could use the web head’s third outing as a way to introduce the new team, even if it is just in an after-credits scene.
