Fantastic New Image From Disney’s ‘John Carter’

Courtesy of Entertainment Tonight, here’s a great new image from Disney’s upcoming sci-fi film adaptation of the classic Edgar Rice Burroughs series “John Carter.” Directed by Pixar direct Andrew Stanton, it stars Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church, and Willem Dafoe.

This film has been getting very little attention and seems to be flying under the radar like many recent live-action Disney films that isn’t a “Pirates” sequel or stars Johnny Depp. I’m not really sure why that is, but I am excited for “John Carter” and it looks like a fantastic sci-fi story that could potentially be Disney’s new tentpole film. I mean, check out this image below? How cool is that?

Here’s what EW had to say about the image:
There are the four-armed green Tharks that Civil War vet John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) first encounters after he’s mysteriously transported to the war-torn surface of Mars. There’s the many-legged amphibi-dog named Woola that becomes Carter’s loyal companion. And then there are one of the most intriguing and fearsome creatures in the series: the great White Apes.
