The untimely death of Paul Walker in a car accident at the end of November has left fans wondering what would happen with his character Brian O’Conner in Fast & Furious 7. Now, THR is reporting that he will not be killed off in the new film, but will instead by “retired in a way that the studio hopes will satisfy fans of the franchise and make use of the exciting footage of Walker.”
It’s also being reported that some additional scenes will be written and shot in order to give Walker’s character the proper exit.
Fast & Furious 7 opens in theaters April 10, 2015.
