Well, this sucks. Final Space is a great show, but it’s now about to be nothing. We don’t mean that it’s canceled and you’ll only find it on streaming. We mean, it’s nothing. It has gotten the Batgirl treatment. According to reports, Warner Bros, the studio that owns the rights to the animated series from Olan Rogers is using the series as one more tax write-off to help get them back in the black. Here’s what the understandably upset Rogers had to say:
“Five years of my life, three seasons of TV. Blood, sweat, and tears… became a tax write-off for the network that owns Final Space. Yup, that’s why it has disappeared everywhere in the USA. When the license is up internationally, Netflix will take it down, and then it will be gone forever.”
When Season three ended, it was on a massive cliffhanger. You can see the final scene below. If you haven’t seen the rest of the series, it’s worth the watch if you can find, but act fast, once it’s gone from Netflix, the only way to see it will be on the high seas.
