While reviews coming out of the screening for the first episode of The Defenders at Comic Con were mixed, I’m still looking forward to seeing Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Punisher, and Iron Fist together, kicking ass and saving Hell’s Kitchen (and probably the world).
Last night, the final trailer dropped for the upcoming Netflix event, just 5 days before the series drops on the streaming network on the 18th of this month.
Marvel’s The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
