Before we jump ahead into the next big MCU storyline, we are going to take a look back at a story that took place between the events of Civil War and the Infinity War. Sure, it’ll probably do something to help advance the next phase oft he Marvel Cinematic Universe forward, but we’re just happy that Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanov/ Black Widow is finally getting her own film.
While much of the film’s plot is still under wraps, it looks like we’ll be seeing Natasha go back and re-connect with her “family” in a mission to take down the organization that made her. Along the way, she’ll be going head to head against Taskmaster. Joining Johanssson in the new adventure are Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova (the new Black Widow), David Harbour as Red Guardian, Rachel Weisz as Melina, and O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason, Agent of SHIELD.
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
