First “Clip” Of STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS Released

J.J. Abrams is a wise ass. He was on Conan O’Brien last night and decided to prank all the Trek fans out there by announcing the release of the first clip from the film. What followed was technically a clip of Zachary Quinto as Spock inside a volcano, but the entire length of the clip was only three frames long.

Don’t blink. You might miss it.

Star Trek Into Darkness Is scheduled for a May 17th, 2013 opening. It stars Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, Noel Clarke, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
