Finally, our first glimpse at footage from Joss Whedon’s secret Shakespeare project that he filmed at his home during the weekends of shooting The Avengers. Sure, it is just a couple seconds of footage at the end of an interview about The Avengers, but it is still in there and it looks very promising.
Whedon say down with the CBS news show, Sunday Morning to talk about The Avengers and what it was like to make the film. Not only is this a great interview, but it is one of the few times I’ve seen his wife included.
His Much Ado About Nothing adaptation is an all-star game of former Whedon project actors:
Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog), Amy Acker (Angel, The Cabin in the Woods), Alexis Denisof (Buffy, Angel), Fran Kranz (Dollhouse, The Cabin in the Woods), Reed Diamond (Dollhouse), Tom Lenk (Buffy, The Cabin in the Woods) Clark Gregg (The Avengers), and Sean Maher (Firefly).
