The first full trailer for the ‘The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn’ just hit the net a little while ago. There’s been a lot of speculation and hype around the movie. The expectations are high… and they should be. Steven Spielberg is the director and the script was written by the combined hands of Joe Cornish, Edgar Wright and Stephen Moffat.
Not to mention the ridiculous casting they were able to achieve which includes Daniel Craig Jamie Bell, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Toby Jones, Andy Serkis, Mackenzie Crook, Tony Curran, Daniel Mays, Sebastian Roche and Gad Elmaleh.
The movie will be a smash in Europe where Tin Tin has his roots. In fact, the movie will be released all over Europe (Brussels on Oct 22 and The UK and Ireland on Oct 26) two months before it sees a screening in the US where it will premier on December 23rd.
So what’s your take on it? Is Tin Tin going to fly with the American movie goer or are we too used to Encyclopedia Brown and The Hardy Boys to care?
