It looks like Dreamworks might be giving Pixar a run for its money in the “animated films that will make you cry” category as they have just released the first trailer for the third and final film in the How To Train Your Dragon trilogy. Over the year’s, we’ve watched Hiccup go from just a little kid to the leader of his village, and along the way we’ve watched his friendship with Toothless, his trusty dragon, blossom. In the new movie, we’ll see Toothless find out that he’s not as along in the world as he once thought, and we’ll also see Hiccup in crisis as dragon hunters seek to rid the world of Toothless’ kind.
The trailer is filled with action, laughs, and more than a few touching moments. If this movie is as good as it’s two predecessors, it could put the How To Train Your Dragon franchise into history as one of the best-animated film series ever made.
