It’s been over a year since Disney announced their planned reboot of the hit afternoon series, Ducktales. Now, we’ve got our first look at an image from the new series.
If The image is an indication, the new show will have one character who was never really a part of the original series, Donald Duck. Sure, Donald showed up from time to time in special episodes, but he was never really a part of the main series. I’m sort of hoping that his inclusion in the image is just a fluke and not an indication that he’ll be one of the show’s main characters this time around, though reports indicate that he may actually now be one of the show’s big players…
Also in the photo, we’ve got Huey, Dewey, Louie, Scrooge McDuck, and Webby. However, there’s no sign of Duckworth, Mrs. Beakley, Gyro Gearloose, Launchpad McQuack, or classic villains Flintheart Glomgold, Magica Despell and Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys, though it is reported that they will all return when the show hits the airwaves sometime in 2017.
