There hasn’t really been much from Guillermo Del Toro that hasn’t been great. Now, after helping behind the scenes on a few animated features, he’s finally producing one himself through 20th Century Fox. Today, the studio released the first images from the film “Book of Life”, an animated feature that revolves around three childhood friends who are involved in a love triangle that is being wagered on by the Gods.
Lending their voices to the film are: Diego Luna, Zoe Saldana, Channing Tatum, Hector Elizondo, Danny Trejo, Ice Cube, and Placido Domingo.
The Book of Life opens in 3D on October 17th.
