First Mind-Bending Trailer For Netflix’s ‘Love, Sex + Robots’ Anthology

The writer of Deadpool and director of Seven have teamed up to create a new animated anthology for Netflix that looks like Heavy Metal had a love child with the Animatrix. We don’t know much about the new series, but we do know that the anthology will be made up of short films that range between 5-15 minutes long from animators and filmmakers all over the world. It looks like the very best kind of sci-fi, techo pulp and we can’t wait!

Here’s what Miller had to say about the new anthology:
“Love, Death & Robots is my dream project, it combines my love of animation and amazing stories. Midnight movies, comics, books and magazines of fantastic fiction have inspired me for decades, but they were relegated to the fringe culture of geeks and nerds of which I was a part. I’m so fucking excited that the creative landscape has finally changed enough for adult-themed animation to become part of a larger cultural conversation.”

Sentient dairy products, werewolf soldiers, robots gone wild, garbage monsters, cyborg bounty hunters, alien spiders and blood-thirsty demons from hell – all converge in eighteen NSFW animated stories.

Presented by Tim Miller & David Fincher.

Love Death + Robots lands on Netflix March 15th.
