First ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Poster Ahead Of Probable Super Bowl Trailer

The Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series is heading our way on May 25th and last night the first poster for the Star Wars series was revealed online. There’s nothing to really glean from the poster in terms of the story, it’s just a cool poster that we wanted to share with you. The big news will most likely come in the form of an unannounced but expected Super Bowl trailer unveiling the series to the mainstream public. In the meantime, we do have one new rumor about the show that is pretty exciting.

It’s been rumored for a while now that Obi-Wan’s Ewan McGregor will be going up against Darth Vader’s Inquisitors in the new series, leading up to an eventual rematch between him and Darth Vader played by Hayden Christensen. Now, Cosmicbooknews is reporting that Rupert Friend’s currently unnamed character is actually the Grand Inquisitor. We first met the Grand inquisitor in Rebels where he was voiced by Jason Isaacs.

There’s no guarantee that we’ll be getting an Obi-Wan trailer during the Super Bowl, or if it will even show anything more than Ewan McGregor walking through the sands with the two suns at his back, but if they drop it there, we’ll have it for you here.
