First Peek at Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in Public Enemies

Once in a while Johnny Depp plays a role that doesn’t involve a pirate hat or a Tim Burton. In the upcoming movie, Public Enemies, he’ll be playing along side Christian Bale who is now most famous for his
role as Batman and his upcoming Terminator Trilogy where he’ll be taking over the roll of John Connor.

The film, which is being directed by Miami Vice creator, Michael Mann, is the story of criminal gang leader John Dillinger (Depp) and determined lawman Melvin Purvis (Bale), the FBI agent tracking him down. The film also stars: Channing Tatum, Giovanni Ribisi, David Wenham, Leelee Sobieski and Emilie de Ravin, and Billy Crudup.
