First Real DAREDEVIL Images of Vincent D’Onofrio As ‘The Kingpin’

One of my biggest hopes for the Netflix series is Vincent D’Onofrio As ‘The Kingpin’. It’s not because I think he’s perfect for the part, but because I trust him as an actor. All the casting for this show has been wonky as hell and the roll out of marketing material has been pretty secretive until the last couple weeks. I’m just very worried they are going to screw it all up.

Anyways, we’ve seen pics of the back of Vincent D’Onofrio’s head, but now we finally have pics of him in character and he looks pretty good. OK… he looks awful, but in a good way for the part.

Here’s what he told USA Today about the role:
“I just brought in this kind of character who in one sentence could easily go from being a child to a monster, depending on where his emotions take him. I wanted him to have an appearance of being super-powerful so that when he throws a punch, it’s a major punch. There’s a lot of weight behind it.”
