Just a day after the first image of Angelina Jolie as the evil queen, Maleficent from the new adaptation of Sleeping Beauty, we have been treated to some great pics from the set. The images come from the British set of the film that started production last week.
The Disney film is being described as “the untold story of Disney’s most beloved villain, Maleficent, from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty. The film reveals the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse the baby, Aurora.”
You know… that sounds a bit like ‘Once Upon A time.’
Along with Jolie, the film stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.
Maleficent is scheduled for a March 14, 2014 release.
